Modern Quality Engineering: Best Practices for Accelerating Delivery

  • AI technologies have the potential to accelerate processes and practices throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Testers and quality engineers are being challenged to quickly adapt and evolve our skills and capabilities by embracing AI, to ensure we keep pace with the rapid speed of innovation. Part of our success will come from regularly leaning about the evolving strengths, weaknesses and capabilities of AI tools, including Generative AI (GenAI), as well as learning practices that can help us implement AI more efficiently and safely. However, another key part of our success will be continuing to evolve our lifecycle models and QE practices, to ensure product development teams can deliver higher quality faster, but with less risk to production systems.

    In this presentation, we will provide valuable insights into modern quality engineering practices that organisations can adopt to achieve these goals. This will include demonstrations of how GenAI can augment and accelerate quality engineering within specific lifecycle activities, including in manual, automated and performance testing, as well as in quality risk assessments.

    The aim of this session is to equip attendees with practical knowledge and skills that will support them in leveraging modern QE practices and AI to improve quality across the SDLC.
