Terms and Conditions

Community event:

Testing Talks has been created as a community event. Excess funds generated (if any) will be used to fund a bigger and better Testing Talks Conference the following year(s).

All attendees, speakers, sponsors and volunteers at our events are required to agree with the following terms and conditions. Organisers will enforce these terms and conditions throughout the event. We are expecting cooperation from all participants to help ensuring a safe environment for everybody.

Testing Talks Conference is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, or religion (or lack thereof). We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any conference venue, including talks, workshops, parties, Twitter and other online media. Conference participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference without a refund at the discretion of the conference organisers.

Attendance is at your own risk:

Attendance at Testing Talks is at your own risk and by entering Testing Talks you agree not to hold Testing Talks, it's partners, subsidiaries or parent companies liable for any damage or distress incurred at an event.

Photography and video:

During Testing Talks events any person may be photographed or filmed as part of the occasion, either as an individual or as a member of a group by media personnel authorised by Testing Talks. An individual may also appear in a photograph or video inadvertently, in the background. Permission is incorporated into the entry conditions to the event. You must inform said media personnel if you do not wish to be photographed or filmed.
