I began my career as a software engineer working across iOS and Web. During this time I discovered a passion for ensuring what we develop is being delivered with quality and speed to our customers. I followed this passion and shifted my career to focus on improving the quality function.

Some highlights from my career include:

- Recognized as a top nominee for the Best Agile Test Team globally, competing alongside industry giants like Google, Microsoft, and Amazon. This achievement demonstrates the excellence and effectiveness of our team.
- Successfully grew and expanded the QA Practice from Digital Melbourne, initially comprising three testers and six projects, to an enterprise-wide function spanning Wagering, Gaming, Lotteries & Keno, and Corporate divisions, with over 100+ testers working on 64 high-level projects.
- Produced exceptional results in quality assurance and automation testing, which directly contributed to increased investment, project growth, and expansion of the quality function.
- Actively promoted a culture of embedding QA professionals in projects, cultivating expertise in championing world-leading quality best practices among the team members.
- Organized and facilitated automation training sessions to up-skill and retain our talent, aligning with our automation goals.
- Initiated and empowered a collaborative monthly meet-up named "Back to Practice," bringing together teams to generate ideas and tasks for future sprints. This platform played a crucial role in improving the quality function and driving automation advancements.
- Introduced community events, skills development initiatives, and learning programs such as scheduled training, brownbag sessions, automation syncs, sprint showcases, and team catch-ups.
- Pioneered the implementation of exploratory testing methods, including Bug Bashes, Mob Testing, and Cross-Platform Testing, to enhance the overall testing approach.
