Appliqation is a testing platform built in Melbourne for the era of AI-driven development.

Developed by the team behind the open-source TEAF framework, it's designed around a simple premise: experienced testers don't belong at the end of the development cycle. They belong at the start of it.

The platform aligns with the AI-Driven Development Lifecycle (AI-DLC), the methodology AWS and others are converging on, where AI participates in planning, coding, and testing as a genuine collaborator. Appliqation is the testing pillar of that model made real.

Inside the platform, the tedious work disappears. Test cases generate from requirements. Evidence captures itself during runs. Defects arrive with screenshots, session recordings, console logs, and root cause analysis already attached. What remains is the work that always required a tester's judgement, because that work still does.

The bigger shift is upstream. Through MCP integration, Appliqation pushes quality context directly into the AI coding tools developers already use: GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf. Test criteria, coverage gaps, risk hotspots, historical defect patterns, all fed into the AI before a line of code is written. The AI writing that code is only as smart as the context it receives. That context now comes from QA.

Testers stop being the people who find what was built badly. They become the people shaping what gets built well.
