Peter is an experienced leader of IT teams withover 30 years’ experience in the IT Industry. His key strength is leadership of large multi-functional teams with clarity of vision to enable teams to meet organisational objectives as well as their individual career goals. He combines this with commercial acumen and strong vendor management skills to achieve the best out of organisational partnerships.
His experience since 2008 has largely been about leading large change programmes that involve challenging cultural transformations in complex environments.
He has a passion for Quality, Innovation and delivering world class services to colleagues in the rest of the organisation outside of IT. Peter is strong supporter of diversity and flexibility in the workplace with a strong emphasis on Women in Leadership
This interactive workshop will guide you through the key steps to establish and scale a successful QE practice within any organization and on any scale. It will start by identifying how to set the purpose and strategic direction for the team. How to align to the business values and goals.
It will help you look at the current state, through the use of maturity assessments to help identify the gaps in testing, automation and quality assurance. It will help you understand what best practice looks like and ascertain what are the standards that you want your team to achieve in the short, medium and long term.
It will help with setting partner strategies for large scale operations, as well as define when you need to use a strategic partner for delivery.
Finally it will take a look at how to embrace AI and introduce it into continuous testing pipelines to speed up time to market
