Stephen is a performance engineer based in Auckland, New Zealand, who has specialized in performance for the past 13 years. Prior to his career he trained to be a professional actor at Toi Whakaari: The New Zealand Drama School, making him qualified in both performance and performance.

Stephen is interested in getting the basics right and has promoted good practice in performance testing and engineering through blogs, conferences and events, and his YouTube series "Performance Time".

In his spare time Stephen works together with his sourdough starter "John Sourdough" to bake home made bread for his friends and family.
